Fountain View Cafe

Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Atmosphere and food reminds me of Virginia Beach.

Very good quality tasty food. Large portion sizes. Steve the owner is very hands on. Family recipes. Very highly recommended. Restrooms very clean. Definitely will return. Amazing hidden gem.

Pancakes were good..but OJ is $3.25 in a small glass and when i asked for more a employee said i have to pay $4 when they didnt even fill the 1st glass all the way up. That just turned me off and made me wish i didn't give them any of my money!

The food here is fantastic. Be ready for stares if you have tattoos or look slightly different than the norm that is Houston.

I arrived to Fountain View Cafe this morning to great disappointment. There is a note from the owner stating that they are closing their doors.I have ritualistically ate breakfast there every Sunday for almost the last two years. Best of luck to Steve. He was always running the register Sundays and always complemented the variety of shirts I would wear each week. The closure is a travesty as far as I’m concerned.

Great breakfast spot! Stopped in for a bite and was not disappointed. Pancakes were thin but super light and fluffy, so yummy. Bacon was nice and crispy and the banana smoothie was a banana lover's dream. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Sorry to see you close.. So many times small cafes as yours are the hidden gems of local restaurants. I recall a story about a local burger eatery in Washington State that was voted the best burger in the nation .. The publicity ruined his business and he was overrun with customers .. His family run cafe was ruined by the great praise and reviews. I wish you the very best and Thank You for serving the community for over thirty years

I've been to Fountain View Cafe many, many times for both breakfast and lunch. Good food, good service - exactly what I would expect. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Quality of food is good!

Food was ok, a little burnt and needed seasoning. Service was awkward guy taking orders was rude and seemed like you were wasting his time. You order like fast casual, they bring it to you. No wifi. Not a bad place, just not trying either.
